Cattle Fencing

Fixed-knot woven wire is our preferred choice of fencing for cattle. It is made of high tensile strength steel that has a higher breaking strength than traditional woven wire fence. It is class 3 galvanized to greater resist weathering. The fixed knot ensures stay spacing stays consist and will not slip under pressure.

Barbed wire is also an option and can be constructed in configurations from 4 to 8 strands.

A mixture of wood and t-posts can be used on spacings ranging from 12 to 20', dependent upon pressure, terrain, and cost consideration.

We recommend the addition of a barbed or electric wire above the woven wire to increase height and decrease pressure on the top of the fence. An electric wire can also be added at a lower height to prevent cattle from rubbing on the fence.
