Post driving is our preferred method of installing posts. Compared to tamping or concreting posts, hydraulically driving them is stronger, quicker and less disturbing to the surrounding area. We can drive posts up to 12' tall and 8" in diameter. The size of the standard post we drive is 5-6" x 8' driven 3 to 3 1/2' deep. 

In rocky or extremely hard soil conditions we use a rock auger with hydraulic down pressure to bore holes in diameters from 4 to 12".
